The World's First Supermodel Injured in Hit and Run

The outrageous former model, now turned reality show star, Janice Dickinson was injured on December 12 in a car crash, the news agency TMZ reports. She is known in all circles for her outspoken attitude and, mostly, for having slept with almost all male celebrities in Hollywood, including Warren Beaty, Sylvester Stallone and Prince Albert II (or so she claims).

The woman who called herself 'the world's first Supermodel' suffered minor injuries and was treated at the celebrity clinic Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

The crash took place on the 405 freeway, as the car in which she and her posse were traveling was hit sideways and sent into a median by a truck that sped away soon afterwards. Although Dickinson was wearing her seatbelt at the time it occurred, she hit the windshield head first and was left with a concussion.

The other passengers of the car, a stylist, her personal assistant and a make-up artist, also suffered minor injuries, for which they were treated at the same Medical Center. All four victims were released soon after and are now recovering at their homes.

A publicist for Janice said that she is now fine and her recuperation will continue. He also stressed that the model will be 'back in fine form' for the premiere of the second season of her show, 'The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency', scheduled to take place on January 10. The show will air on Oxygen.

The police are now investigating the crash, in the hope of establishing the identity of the hit and run driver.
