Club Owner to Paris: You're Fired!
06 January, 2007
Bad things are in the stars for Paris Hilton! Oh, how she must weep now, depriving herself of sleep and nourishment for the sheer pain she is in... The blonde socialite was just fired as the face of two Florida nightclubs, after failing to comply with her end of the bargain. First, she is denied access into one of Hollywood's trendiest spots, Hyde. Then, other clubs are suddenly too crowded to make some room for her majesty Paris Hilton and her solid entourage of wealthy boys and girls. For a woman who made a living out of partying and who made partying her life, this must be quite a blow in the nuts... if she had any, that is. Only in 2005, Paris is said to have made an estimated $4 million just out of showing up at parties and getting paid for it. Basically, she was contacted by the owners, came, struck a pose outside, danced, got free drinks and then left. Her biggest check that same year was for $300,000 for just 20 minutes of her gracious presence and she wasn't even required to mingle with the crowd!
Both clubs are, of course, Club Paris, but the owner has had enough of the diva behavior and he nixed the heiress because she didn't comply with the terms of the initial understanding. 'She's created a circus for herself. It's all about: How has she screwed up now', the owner explained. In afact, trouble began ever since the first club opened, when Paris arrived six hours later (!) than the appointed time. And all she had to say in her defense was: 'I was in the Swiss Alps skiing, and I got caught at the airport with all the holiday travel so I've been trying to travel for the past 24 hours. I'm so sorry I'm late'. The Club Paris owner also said he is now looking for a new face to represent the establishments, although he will not change their names. Paris' publicist, the always ready Eliot Mintz, says they had no idea about her being fired. 'I'm certainly disappointed to learn of Fred's unfortunate comments. We shall address his statements at the appropriate time.', he told the Associated Press. Posted by admin at 07:31 PM | View: (157) |
