Britney Attempts Suicide. Claims She's the Antichrist.

While the various paparazzi agencies that were lucky enough to snap Britney Spears while she was out of the Promises center for two AA meetings claim she is looking better than she had since last November, the gossip machine is already hard at work about her stay in the posh rehabilitation clinic. Sources close to the pop star talked to 'News of the World' and revealed that on Sunday night, Britney tried to take her own life.

Although many said that her alcoholism and addiction to drugs may be the effect of an untreated post-partum depression, it seems that what has been troubling Britney goes deeper than that. 'Friends' of hers, interviewed by the tabloid, stated that, on Sunday, she received Kevin Federline's visit, during which she pleaded with him to take her back and even to make another baby, as the only possible way to consolidate their relationship.



'Britney has realized what a rock Kevin has been to her, and how out of control she has acted recently. She has been talking to Kevin every night for hours on the phone, telling him she still loves him. She just wants to be with him again, and thinks having another baby will seal their marriage. Kevin has been a real tower of strength for her and she has finally decided to give their marriage another shot. She thought things were over between her and Kevin after his wild partying and gambling. She felt he had deserted her and left her to bring up their two children on her own. She never even dreamed she would take him back. But Kevin's like a different man now. He's never been so caring before, and is really worried about Britney. He's been Britney's rock during her difficult time, and she wants to give him another chance.', the source is quoted as saying.

As disturbing as this rumor about the two getting back together might be, there is something more that scares the living light out of Britney's fans: the same source says that, later than day, after K-Fed had left, the singer went on a rampage, scrambled '666' with a pencil on her forehead and then tried to hang herself. Fortunately for her, she was found in time by the medics, who practically saved her life.

'She is still very vulnerable. She had the number 666 written onto her bald head. She was crying, and shouting, “I am the Antichrist!” The clinic people just didn't know what to do. Then she started screaming, “I'm a fake! I'm a fake!” It must have been really frightening. Later that night she tried to kill herself. She attached a sheet to a light and tied it around her neck. Paramedics were called, but luckily she was unhurt', 'News of the World' writes.

This is Britney's second week in rehab and the second time that rumors about her being on a suicide watch are printed in the media. Naturally, Larry Rudolph, Britney's manager and spokesperson for the time being, refused to comment on the above mentioned incident. For more information (and rumors), stay tuned here.
