Nicole Richie Rushed to the Hospital Because, Obviously, Water Runs Short in the US

You would think that, were Nicole Richie to ever be rushed to a hospital, she would be so on account of her ever-shrinking frame and not because there is not enough water in the country to quench her thirst. Then again, she was spotted all the time only with ready-to-go coffee in her hands so we can totally understand why she would be dehydrated (irony intended, of course). While shooting for the upcoming season for 'The Simple Life' (no, it hasn't been canceled yet), along with her best friend for the time being, Paris Hilton, as camp counselors, Nicole was taken ill. Consequently, a doctor was summoned on the set to oversee the ailing starlet. He later decided that she was lacking fluids and Nicole was rushed to the hospital, where she received an intravenous shot for 15 minutes. Later that same day, Nicole was released and her publicist has been hard at work to squash those eating disorder rumors that have already begun to circulate. 'Nicole is at home resting and will return to work. We are proud of her weight that Nicole is gaining and her focus on her health', he said in a statement over the weekend.
That still leaves one important question unanswered: if Nicole Richie is such a big star in such a popular reality show, shouldn't she be eating and drinking like any other normal person would do in real life If not, that must mean that the 'reality' show is not an authentic one... and right now, in the presence of so many possibilities, I find myself very confused.
