Britney About to Get Royally Screwed!

Britney Spears' photo shoot and interview with 'OK!' Magazine was – according to various media outlets and double the number of unnamed sources – a complete disaster, nothing short of a meltdown, the kind we were also privy back in February this year. There were reports of bratty behavior (on Britney's part, of course), excessive mood swings and crazy attitude but, until today, it was all just pure speculation.

Apparently, right before heading down to the set where she shot the video for 'Get Back', which was supposed to be her vehicle back into the spotlight, Britney called the Editor-in-Chief at 'OK!' and let her know that she would be willing to do an exclusive interview and photo shoot with the mag. Reportedly, she didn't even ask to get paid for it and vouched that she would open up (no holds barred and totally frankly) about such topics of high interest as her music comeback, the rehab stint, her divorce and her children, and even the feud she has been carrying on with her mother. It was supposed to be something really great, trust me, a revealing interview that would have helped her save face and redeem her tarnished reputation.


*cough, cough* Plans are known for having this strange habit of not working out. Instead of an interview that would have put her back on her long lost throne of Princess of Pop, Britney only dug for herself a deeper hole in which to hide. What
Enlarge pictureleaked from the set of the video into the media was, by far, not something to be proud off: scooping dog poop from the floor with Channel dresses, acting like a crazy person, paranoia attacks, frequent trips to the bathroom, mumbling to herself in baby-talk, dressing like a slut in two-sizes too small outfits and who knows what else. The real problem was what was 'OK!' to do with all that information: sanitize it in such a way as to paint a picture of Britney we all would have known to be false or simply report the facts as they were, even if that meant killing her career for good

The magazine went for the latter option but not because Brit Brit is truly a despicable person. Quite on the contrary, someone from the magazine says: 'It's hard to hate someone so pathetic. She's not a bitch at heart or anything…she's just f**king sad.' So, instead of a fake story, we'll get to see Britney like we always suspected her to be, but never before had the chance to confirm it: a complete wreck. According to a statement released by the Editor-in-Chief, they will be manipulating the truth or beating around the bush this time: '"OK!" Magazine spent a heartbreaking day with Britney Spears and witnessed first-hand an emotional cry for help that will leave you shocked and sad. This week, on newsstands Friday, the truth will be told.'
