Pamela Anderson Admits to Being a Prostitute

I know "prostitute" is a rough word, but just to make sure I haven't jumped any lines of decency here, I looked it up in the dictionary and this is what I came up with: "Prostitution is the sale of sexual services (examples: oral sex, sexual intercourse) for money. A person selling sexual services is a prostitute, a type of sex worker. In a more general sense of the word, anyone selling their services for a cause thought to be unworthy can be described as prostituting themselves".

Now that we know what we're talking about, let's have a look at what Pamela Anderson, the former Baywatch beauty and muse to several troublesome rock singers, declared when recounting a wild (and bad) night that started with her losing $250.000 at a poker game. It all took place in Sin City, of course, and Pamela admitted to losing the considerable amount in favor of a mystery man, who made her an indecent proposal.

The blonde actress said about the man whom she had lost to: "He said if I made out with him that would clear the bet". OK, point number one – I believe "made out" is a little tame when it comes to Pammy, plus, if the mystery man would settle a $250.000 debt with nothing more than making out, he was really either very stupid, very drunk or Pammy's future husband (number three). "I paid off a poker debt with sexual favors" she goes on to say. Well, now that's more like it – sexual favors don't include making out, I think – and hats off to the Baywatch diva for her honesty.

Back to our definition of a prostitute. A person who sells sexual services (or favors) is a prostitute, and Pammy has really left us no doubts with her admitting to having done it. But I'm not surprised – or complaining – most of the other Hollywood divas who are doing it would never admit to it, and really, hypocrisy is just as bad as sleeping with a guy to square off a debt. I only hope both the man in question and Pamela herself felt they got their money's worth.
