Jessica Gained Weight in All the Right Places

Last week, I had the wonderful opportunity of showing you a couple of photos of Jessica Simpson out in the town with her girls. Back then, I thought that seeing her generous cleavage would be a one-timer, since for a while now she has become more than unkind to the male population of this planet.

If one were to trace Jessica's career and popularity, one would instantly see that both of these took a deep plunge in the months following her divorce and right before she released her latest album. For some reason or another, Ashlee was then rated as the hottest sister and, consequently, it all showed on Jessica (on her looks, that is). The girl the entire world fell in love with because of her wonderful smile and even more wonderful curves was no longer special.

But the sun shines again on Jessica's street, as you can see for yourselves (and I'm not necessarily saying that because she's almost orange from that much spray-on tan): ever since she began dating musician John Mayer, she is like a totally different woman from the one we got to know from the highly successful series 'Newlyweds'. And you are to take that literally: Jessica is different because she has gained some poundage and it shows, especially in the chest area.



Enlarge pictureI'm not gonna make this into something like 'Gee, is she fat or is she fat?' because the case is obviously not such to require it. As long as she's not baring her overflowing midriff or showing us her thunder thighs (you know, just like Britney used to do in the pre-rehab days), as long as she's keeping her fashion choices in the limits of common sense, no one will argue with her.

All the more since all the weight Jessica gained so far couldn't have found a better place to go than it did: her chest. This is Jessica on a night out (John-less again) and, as your acute sense of observation will probably tell you, she is looking great again! Aside from the brightly colored dress (about which many found reasons to complain – although, frankly, I don't see why), she is absolutely stunning. Really, this is not one of those times that I'm saying something I don't mean, only to mess with your mind.

You can not like Jessica Simpson as an actress or as a singer (and I presume we all have reasons to do both) but you can for the world not love the way this woman works a cleavage. Thank God she gave up wearing high-waisted diapers and went instead for the most advantageous look afforded by a low-cut cleavage. All in favor say I! I!
