Oh, No! Owen Wilson is Dating Chestica Simpson!

Talk about matches NOT made in heaven. And bad timing. And raised eyebrows. No, I'm not talking about a new movie, although I wish it were the case – since then it would be just fiction and it would go away as soon as I turned off the TV. But the fact is, we've been bombarded with rumors about a possible romance between recovering actor Owen Wilson and blonde bombshell Jessica Simpson and much as I've tried to deny it, reality eventually comes and bites us in the a*s big time.


The actor has reportedly been on several dates with the blonde ever since the pair worked on a Willie Nelson music video last month. Wait – something is wrong. Several dates and he still didn't realize who he's dealing with? Something is definitely rotten here. The two were first spotted at Santa Monica's Huntley Hotel and then were seen again enjoying a meal at New York's Waverly Inn, before heading for drinks at the exclusive Rose Bar.

The same source however claims that the relationship is not serious or exclusive. "Owen finds Jessica hilarious, but he's talking to lots of girls'. Sure he finds her hilarious – any man would as soon as she opens her mouth. But I really hope he's just after a few laughs – and besides, he's not nearly as silly enough for her to like him. He's been depressed, he's recovering, he needs an altruistic person next to him, not an attention seeking self-centered brat. But who knows – maybe we've been underestimating Jessica so far.

Owen has been single since splitting from Kate Hudson earlier this year. However, it was recently reported Kate was keen to rekindle her romance with the actor. Jessica was previously married to singer Nick Lachey, but the pair officially divorced in 2006 and Jessica has since been linked to US musician John Mayer and comedian Dane Cook. Hope Owen gets Kate back and this whole story ends before it does some serious damage – and I’m not even joking about that.
